Shirdi Trip

Shirdi is famous as the residence of Sai Baba, a popular Muslim saint, Sai Baba. A small village in Maharashtra, Shirdi is located 85 km north of Ahmadnagar district and 296 km from Mumbai. On average, 50,000 people visit Shirdi daily, and during the holiday rush is even more.

Sai Baba's origin is completely unknown. The saga of Sai Baba of Shirdi started when he appeared under a neem tree at the age of 16 years and undertook severe penance. For the next 60 years he has dedicated his life to the poor and oppressed. His simple expressions and his ability to solve problems of the poor, which soon became famous as Shri Sai Baba.

Or even care about religion and made peace between peoples in conflict and always encouraged to follow their religious path. Drew devotees from all over the country, but never traveled. Sai Baba has a strong belief in the uniformity of religion and do not distinguish people on the basis of caste or creed. Some people believe he is the incarnation of Shiva or Dattatreya. Sai Baba Sai Baba was an expert in Yoga Yatha. He spent most of his time in a mosque in Shirdi. And he took a Samadhi here one day Dussehra in 1918. Since then, thousands of faithful turned on the day of Shirdi, regardless of their religion.

Today, Shirdi is a famous center of pilgrimage for hundreds of thousands of people in all places and all the doctrines in a row to visit the place where Sai Baba gave his life.

Sai temple is the shrine of the present second richest country. Built of stone, the temple complex has many other attractions besides the main temple, as Chavadi, Gurusthan Samadhi Mandir, Mandir Khandoba, garden Lendi and the samadhi of Baba's disciples. faithful worship the idol of the saint, carved in white marble and silver high on a throne flanked by lions paragliding. Composed of pure Italian marble, it seems that Sai Baba was about to speak to his people. A glass chamber on the left, where various things handled by Baba are kept including a gramophone and his umbrella. The temple can be visited from 5 to 10 pm at night. On Guru-Poornima, Dussera and Ramnavami festivals, the temple is open all night. Each ceremony is accompanied by processions, special foods etc. Every Thursday, a palkhi with a picture of Sai Baba left the temple, is worth watching.

Samadhi Mandir

The black marble Samadhi contains the remains of Sabi Baba, his head lying to the north and his feet to the south. It has beautiful decorations. Near the Samadhi Mandir is Dwarkamai Masjid, which is the holy home of origin. A sacred fire kindled by him still burns here and his ashes spread over devotees.

Shri Gurusthan Mandir

This is the place where Sai Baba first appeared to the world of 16 years, the world. Famous Margosa (Neem) tree is here which is a reference to the "Sai Sat-Charitra". The shrine houses a statue was built, and a portrait of the guru.

Chavadi Mandir

Near Guru Mandir Mandir there is Chavadi. This is where Baba used to sleep every two days. A white chair and a wooden bed belongs to him can be seen here.

Maruti Temple

This is the place where Baba used to regularly visit this temple.

Lendi Baug

It is a quiet and peaceful garden, where Shri Sai Baba used to meditate. Nandadeep constantly burning at the pimple on a tree planted by Shri Sai Baba himself.

Datta Mandir

There is a Datta Mandir in Lendi Baug and Shri Sai Baba's beloved horse 'Shamkarna' is taking eternal rest here.It is also known as" Baba Shivdi".

Khandoba Mandir

It is here Baba was declared as a saint.

Shirdi Accommodation rules for Sai Devotees

  1. While doing current booking please, fill up the right information of all members (Name, Relation, Age, etc.) and submit all members I.D cards like PAN Card or Aadhar card or Driving licence etc. If the above information is not correct or true the room will be immediately vacated.
  2. Hall/Room will be allotted for minimum 24 hours and maximum 48 hours.
  3. Room will not be allotted for single person. (Male or female). In such cases hall facility is available in Saibaba Bhaktaniwas and Saidharmshala Accommodation.
  4. In case of couple, room will only be allotted, knowing after their marital status on valid documentation basis.
  5. Sanitation and other charges will be charged as per the time slot written on the receipt. The service charges of the room are fixed as per the time duration mentioned on the receipt. No changes will be made thereafter on any grounds.
  6. Keep your valuable articles, cash, mobile etc in your room, at your own risk.
  7. Devotees are requested to vacate the room at particular time as mentioned on the receipt and handover the keys to the floor attendant. Otherwise service charges for the next full day will be charged.
  8. If any kind of abuse or misrule is found in a room, room will be immediately vacated.
  9. For online booking, Rooms will be allotted maximum three hours prior to prior booking, only on availability basis.
  10. In case of spot booking, if rooms are available, they will be allotted by “first come to first serve” basis.
  11. The decision of the Administrative Officer/Superintendent will be final for some issues related to the allocation.
  12. Please do not misuse the furniture availed in the room, do not scribble anything on the walls. In case of damages/loss, a fine will be charged from the occupants and the room will have to vacate immediately.
  13. Drinking, Smoking, and Chewing of tobacco or Gutkha is strictly prohibited inside the room as well as in Sansthan premises.
  14. No service charges (Amount paid) will be returned on any grounds in case even if the room is vacated prior to the fixed schedule.
  15. Hot water time will be 3.00 a.m. to till hot water is available.
